We, as a family, have decided that on Sundays we will visit parks in Ha Noi area. It seems like a nice way to explore the city with the kids. This Sunday we went to Thống Nhất Park, commonly known as "Lenin Park". If you google Lenin Park you will get info about another park just opposit the Military History Museum. I dont know why everybody call Thống Nhất Park for Lenin Park. Maybe the statue of Lenin was in Thống Nhất Park earlier and then moved to the current Lenin Park.

Thống Nhất Park offers a lot to do. More than the other parks we have visited. Its quite large and it takes about 1 hour to go around (in our pace with kids and all). They have merry go rounds and playgrounds for the kids and also small roller coasters.
If you want to spend some time alone with your loved one you can rent a swan boat and go out on the lake. Cozy. This is the way young couples get some time for themselves, they go to the park. At home there is not enough space. Sisterns, brothers, parents, and in-laws everywhere. No wonder they go to the parks.
When the young couples becomes more serious and get married they are returning to the parks. In every park I have visited there has been at least 2 wedding couples taking there photographs. It was no exception in this park.
When some people have fun together with friends and loved ones others spend time with themselves and ...do things. I think this man is practicing some kind of Yoga.
This man is playing with his imaginary friend. Or is he doing Thai Ch?
After a while its nice to stop at a café to get some snacks and drinks. Ruben enjoyd his ice cream.
You see a lot of people in the park and you just can´t figure out what some of them are doing. Maybe this man was putting his Thai chi in practice.
